Included as standard features is a safety device within the wheel guard which reacts instantaneously to seal the enclosure and provides a shield from an exploding disintegrating grinding wheel.

Includes all standard Model 76WS features plus ... a dual machine exhaust system which precludes silica dust emission generated in various grinding applications ... vacuums the air following the wheel at the operator's breathing zone. (Optional)

The patented "Wheel to the Work" principle permits infinite hand crank adjustment of the wheel within the guard to compensate for wheel wear.  By maintaining the 1/8" gauge clearance, the correct peripheral speed is automatically set regardless of wheel diameter ... and maintained throughout the extended life of the wheel.  No mechanical linkage is required to prevent overspeeding.  Guesswork is eliminated and safety is assured. Exclusive wheel rests are incorporated in the guard enclosure to facilitate wheel installation.  The wheel rests support and locate the wheel in approximate position while final alignment on the inner flange is achieved.  A spindle nut wrench is furnished. Pressure fixture is easily accommodated without constant readjustment and realignment of the tool support.  Moving the "Wheel to the Work" re-establishes gauge clearance without disturbing the initial set up.
