The U.S. Model PLG is a precision grinder which features a compact, balanced design for easier handling ... fast interchangeability of external and optional internal quills ... wide horsepower range from 1 through 7-1/2 HP ... spindle speed range from 1700 to 6000 RPM.

The Model PLG grinder is adaptable for use with lathes, planers, boring mills, milling machines, etc., for either internal or external work.  Easily mounted to any standard machine, it can be used in either the vertical or horizontal position.

Proper belt tension is maintained through a single adjustable screw with positive lock.  Grinding wheel spindles are equipped with matched precision ball bearings lubricated and sealed for life.  Custom models to 10 HP also available.
