  CAUTIONS FOR
 GRINDING MACHINES

 
 
CAUTION
  • Use proper wheels rated for the R.P.M. shown on the Nameplate.
  • Do NOT alter this machine.
  • Keep fingers away from moving parts.
  • Use Eye Protection when operating this machine.
  • Do NOT operate this machine unless you have been properly instructed and trained.
  • If power failure occurs, shut off the machine until the power is restored.
  • Do NOT leave this machine running without an Operator present.
  • Keep Tool Rest adjusted within 1/8" of the Wheel.
  • Keep Guard Top or Spark Breaker adjusted within 1/4" of the Wheel.
  • Never operate equipment without Proper Guarding.
  • Do NOT adjust work rest unless the wheel is completely stopped.
 
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER TO FURNISH APPROPRIATE WHEEL GUARDS AND GUARDS FOR MACHINERY PARTS IN COMPLIANCE WITH O.S.H.A. STANDARDS, AS WELL AS ANY OTHER SAFETY DEVICES REQUIRED BY LAW AND/OR DESIRED BY THE PURCHASER.
